Hellux Samolot 1041141 wooden pendant light, large airplane, light blue and natural, E27

Hellux Samolot 1041141 is a wooden pendant light shaped like a biplane, in a light-blue and natural-wood finish. Blue wings, a propeller and wheels surround a fuselage with visible wood grain. Its single bulb sits above the fuselage, between the aircraft's structural elements, rather than inside a conventional enclosed shade.

A wooden aircraft, not a printed shade

Hellux specifies solid pine for this light. The fuselage is oiled, while the wings and other painted parts have a light-blue water-based finish. This leaves the natural grain visible beside the solid-colour surfaces. Two levels of wings, vertical struts, the propeller and the undercarriage create the aircraft outline in three dimensions. The decoration is therefore part of the fitting's shape, rather than an illustration applied to an ordinary lampshade.

The manufacturer states that the propeller and undercarriage are movable. The old-fashioned biplane form gives the light a retro character suited to an aviation-themed children's room. Natural wood can be paired with wooden furniture, while the blue details provide a colour reference for existing accessories. This is a ceiling-suspended fitting intended for a child's room.

Check its footprint and drop

The aircraft measures 45 cm long and 42 cm wide. Overall height is 75 cm, and the manufacturer's drawing gives the aircraft body a height of 16.5 cm. Compare these measurements with the space beneath your ceiling connection before choosing the position. The wings need room to either side of the suspension, not just directly below it. The overall drop is particularly relevant where people will walk underneath.

Choose the E27 bulb separately

There is one E27 socket with a maximum bulb rating of 60 W. A compatible LED bulb can be used, and the light source must be bought separately. Hellux recommends a milky globe-shaped GLOBE bulb for the open position above the fuselage. Brightness and light colour depend on the bulb selected. The 60 W figure is a permitted limit, not a fixed energy consumption for the complete light.
