Italux Merto 3-Light E14 Pendant, Matt Black with Clear Glass Shades PND-40930-3B-BK

Italux Merto PND-40930-3B-BK is a pendant light with three narrow glass shades arranged in a straight row. Matt black metal parts contrast with transparent glass featuring vertical ribbing. Each shade hangs on its own cable from a shared elongated ceiling canopy, creating a linear composition rather than a spreading chandelier with arms.

Three shades along the table

The fitting measures 60 cm long and 10 cm wide. This layout is worth considering above a rectangular dining table or kitchen island when the light points should follow the length of the furniture. In an open-plan living and dining room, it can form a separate composition above the dining area without placing one broad shade at the centre.

The manufacturer lists a height of 22 cm and an overall height of 120 cm. Keep these measurements distinct when planning the position, and compare the full drop with your ceiling height and tabletop. If the pendant will be near a route through the room, check the clearance beneath it rather than choosing solely by the room's length.

Choose the E14 bulbs separately

Three E14 holders accept replaceable traditional or LED bulbs. Light sources are not included, and the stated maximum wattage is 40 W. Your bulb selection determines brightness and light colour; these are not fixed by an integrated LED module. A photograph of the illuminated fitting therefore does not specify a colour temperature supplied with the lamp. The transparent shades also leave the bulbs visible, making their appearance relevant to the finished arrangement.

Dimming is possible with a suitable light source. For an installation with a dimmer, check that the chosen bulbs are compatible with the control being used.

Modern lines and ribbed glass

The simple canopy and repeated cylindrical forms suit modern and modernist interiors. Vertical ribs give the glass a textured surface while retaining a slim outline. Merto offers a black pendant over a table with decoration concentrated in the glass rather than additional arms or hanging ornaments.
