Jupiter MELANI 1688 is a silver chandelier with five arms and exposed E14 lampholders. Its steel construction follows slender curved lines that meet beneath the central suspension element. Transparent decorative rings below the lampholders complete the candle-inspired outline.
Checking the space above a table
The fitting is 68 cm high, with a width and depth of 48 cm. Compare these dimensions with the ceiling height, table size and available space around the lamp before choosing its position. This is a suspended chandelier rather than a flush ceiling light, so its vertical dimension matters particularly where people will walk underneath it.
The five-arm arrangement can provide general lighting in a living room or bedroom, or hang above a dining table. Over a tabletop, check both the space needed for the arms and the clearance beneath the fitting. The number of bulbs alone does not tell you how bright the room will be: that depends on the light sources selected.
Five bulbs to purchase separately
MELANI takes five replaceable light sources with E14 bases. Jupiter specifies the power as 5 × E14/11 W and the voltage as 230 V. Bulbs are not included, so they need to be part of your lighting purchase. Light colour and luminous flux are chosen with the bulbs rather than supplied as fixed characteristics of an integrated LED module.
The photograph shows flame-shaped bulbs, but their appearance in the image does not mean they come with the chandelier. Because the lampholders are exposed, the shape of the bulbs you choose also becomes part of the lamp's visible composition.
A classical silhouette in silver
Curved arms, a chain suspension and upward-facing lampholders support its use in classical interiors. The silver surface and transparent details can also accompany glamour-style furnishings. Jupiter lists a five-year warranty for this model.
