LED Bollard Light Egersund 5068GR 108 cm IP65 DALI2 Graphite NORLYS

Egersund 5068GR is a bollard light with a round body of cast aluminium, powder-coated in graphite. It stands 108 cm tall with a diameter of 20 cm. The top section is a clear PMMA cylinder in which a silver cone spreads the light all around the post, closed by a flat graphite cap.

Where it can stand and how it is installed

The manufacturer designed this bollard for gardens, private grounds and public areas. Its 108 cm height is worth comparing with the width of the path, terrace or driveway it is meant to line. The housing is rated IP65 and IK08 for impact resistance, so the bollard can stand outdoors without any cover.

The luminaire is bolted down through three ø9 mm holes spaced 120° apart on a ø65 mm circle. The concreting anchor (item 1230) is sold separately, as are the other mounting accessories. The terminals accept conductors up to 5×4 mm², and the round sheathed cable may be 8 to 17 mm in diameter. The fittings can be looped, so in a row of bollards along a path the cable runs from one to the next. The bollard is protection class I, which means it must be connected to a protective earth, and it weighs 11.63 kg.

How much light it gives, and what kind

The light source is an LED module, included. A colour temperature of 3000 K is a warm white close to a traditional halogen bulb. The complete luminaire delivers 1681 lm at a consumption of 20.3 W. Light spreads symmetrically in all directions around the post, with about 10% of the output going upwards. A colour rendering index of Ra 80 gives correct colours.

Both the LED module and the driver are replaceable, but replacement is done only by a professional service (repair kit ZS5068zx0011). The manufacturer states an L80 lifetime of over 102,000 hours for the module and 100,000 hours for the driver.

DALI2 control

The driver supports the DALI2 protocol and the NightDim function, which reduces output in the middle of the night. It ships programmed to the maximum permitted current, and brightness is controlled through a DALI system. Standby consumption is 0.5 W. The manufacturer also states how many luminaires one circuit breaker can supply: up to 18 on a B10A and up to 30 on a B16A — useful figures when planning a longer line of bollards.
