LEX BLACK Wire Cage Pendant Lamp 1xE27 Black Keter Lighting

LEX BLACK is a pendant lamp built around an open wire cage with a faceted, geometric silhouette. The black metal frame leaves the bulb fully exposed inside the cage, so the slim rods throw a graphic pattern of shadows onto the walls and ceiling. It suits loft and modern minimalist interiors equally well, whether hung on its own or in a row above a worktop or kitchen island.

Build and finish

Both the frame and the cage shade are made of metal finished in black — the whole fixture is kept in a single colour, including the round ceiling rose and the suspension cable. The cage measures 19 × 19 cm and the total suspension height reaches 120 cm, so the drop can be adjusted during installation. At 0.8 kg gross the lamp puts very little load on a ceiling or a suspended ceiling panel.

Choosing a bulb

The E27 socket takes bulbs up to 60 W, so the light source is entirely your choice. Decorative Edison-style bulbs with a visible filament look particularly good inside an open cage — they are what gives the lamp its final character. Warm white (2700–3000 K) works above a dining table and in the living room; neutral white (4000 K) suits a kitchen or a work area.

Where it works

The lamp is intended for dry interiors: above a dining table or kitchen island, in a hallway, a bedroom or over a desk. The IP20 rating means it must not be installed in bathroom zones exposed to direct water contact, nor outdoors.
