Lucide BISKIT 79111/36/31 is a white bathroom ceiling light with an opal acrylic diffuser and a built-in microwave motion sensor. Its round body combines an integrated LED source with movement-responsive switching. There is no separate bulb to purchase for this version.

Choose the position around the sensor

The sensor is part of this specific article, rather than an optional accessory. Lucide specifies a detection distance of 3–4 m, a detection angle of 150° and a timer range of 5–1800 seconds. The ambient-light threshold is also adjustable. Before deciding where to mount the light, compare that detection distance with the doorway and the routes people take through the room.

Movement-responsive lighting is useful in a bathroom or a circulation area such as a hallway, where the light should react to someone entering. If your requirement is continuous illumination regardless of movement, take this control arrangement into account when choosing the fitting. Sensor operation does not provide brightness adjustment: BISKIT is not dimmable.

Warm white light, not an adjustable spotlight

The included LED source is rated at 24 W, 2700 K and a declared luminous flux of 1550 lm. Its colour is warm white rather than cool white. The opal diffuser and diffuse distribution around the fitting support general illumination. The light cannot be aimed at a selected surface in the way an adjustable spotlight can.

Assess mirror lighting separately according to your needs and bathroom layout. Source lumens alone do not establish the illumination reaching a face or guarantee sufficient brightness throughout a room. The manufacturer includes the light source and its specified driver.

Ceiling clearance and installation

A diameter of 34.5 cm and an overall height of 7.5 cm define the fitting's footprint and projection from the ceiling. The matt white rim, simple circular outline and opal diffuser give it a restrained modern appearance. Its mounting plate is metal, and there is no suspended cable.

IP44 and the manufacturer's bathroom designation do not make every bathroom position permissible. The installation location must meet the requirements of the relevant zone. This mains-powered class I fitting needs a correctly connected protective earth. Have an electrician install it in accordance with Lucide's instructions and the applicable installation rules.
