Lucide JESSICA black cotton flush ceiling light, 30 cm, E27, Japandi 10121/30/30

Lucide JESSICA 10121/30/30 is a black flush ceiling light with an open shade made from cotton cords. Angled strands form two connected tapering sections, leaving the single bulb visible through the weave. A metal ceiling plate holds the fitting close to the ceiling rather than suspending it from a cable.

A fixed 21 cm drop from the ceiling

The complete fitting measures 30 cm in diameter and 21 cm high. The shade itself is 18.5 cm high, while the ceiling plate measures 10 × 10 × 2.5 cm. Compare the overall height with the available clearance at the intended mounting position before ordering. There is no adjustable suspension to shorten, so this is not an alternative to a pendant with a variable drop.

Its ceiling-mounted format can serve a living room, bedroom, dining room, kitchen, entrance hall or corridor. Whether one light point will provide enough illumination depends on the bulb selected and the room layout. The shade diameter alone does not establish how bright the finished installation will be.

Choose a separate E27 bulb

JESSICA has one E27 socket rated for a bulb of up to 60 W. No bulb is supplied. The manufacturer permits an LED light source, allowing you to choose the light output and colour temperature through the bulb rather than accepting a fixed integrated LED specification. The warm light shown in the photographs comes from the bulb used for those images.

Dimming requires both a dimmable bulb and a compatible external dimmer, which is not included. With an ordinary wall switch, the fitting operates as an on/off ceiling light. Electrical installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician; the Class I fitting requires an earth connection.

Cotton texture with a geometric outline

The black cord structure remains visibly open, including the view from below, so the appearance of the bulb matters as well as its output. The combination of textile texture and defined geometry supports Japandi, modern and modernist interiors. It is a different visual choice from a solid, opaque shade that hides the light source.
