Lucide TACHINA 06526/81/70 table lamp, natural linen and brown wood, E27, Ø 25 cm

Lucide TACHINA 06526/81/70 pairs a natural-coloured linen shade with a brown wooden base. Its form consists of two cylinders: a broad drum shade above a narrower upright base with visible wood grain. This is the single-socket E27 version, supplied without a bulb.

Allow room for the shade as well as the base

The lamp is 31.5 cm high and measures 25 cm across in both directions. The shade has the same 25 cm diameter at its upper and lower edges. When choosing a bedside table or a position on a sideboard, compare the available space with the whole shade rather than just the footprint of the wooden base.

The base itself is 10 cm in diameter and 16 cm high. A 180 cm cable with a plug connects the lamp to the power supply. Check the route to the socket and leave the switch on the cable within reach. Neither the overall height nor the direction of the lamp can be adjusted.

Choose an E27 bulb separately

TACHINA requires one E27 bulb rated at no more than 15 W; Lucide confirms compatibility with LED bulbs. The fitting has no integrated light source. Check the bulb's lumen output and colour temperature when buying it, since these determine the available brightness and light colour rather than the lamp alone.

The luminaire is non-dimmable. Its cable switch provides on/off operation, not continuous brightness control. The linen shade distributes light around the lamp rather than directing an adjustable beam onto a particular spot.

A restrained Japandi combination

Lucide identifies this design as Japandi. The natural textile shade, brown wood and simple cylindrical outline provide the material and visual basis for that classification. The manufacturer names side tables, bedside tables and desks as possible positions in living rooms, bedrooms and offices. In a workspace, use it as supplementary lighting rather than treating it as an adjustable task lamp. Its visible linen texture and wood grain are useful references when coordinating it with furniture and other finishes.
