The black-painted LUMINES FLARO is an aluminium LED profile designed to be recessed along the bottom of a wall. It replaces a conventional skirting board and accommodates a decorative line of light without a separate fitting projecting from the wall surface. Article 10-0655-20 is 2020 mm long, equivalent to 2.02 m.
Allowing for the recessed section
The profile has an overall height of 72.4 mm and a cross-section width of 18.1 mm. Compare these dimensions with the proposed construction at the foot of the wall. FLARO is a recessed component, rather than a surface-mounted trim that can cover a finished wall without space being prepared. The installation drawing shows part of the section plastered into the wall and an open area beside the floor.
Black paint identifies this particular variant. Project photographs illustrate the path of the light, but do not specify the colour temperature or power of the LED strip you select. The straight horizontal profile suits modern and minimalist interior layouts.
Building the FLARO system
The channel accepts an LED strip up to 12 mm wide and works with BASIC covers. The manufacturer also lists left and right end caps, built-in end caps, straight connectors and angled connectors for this system. Profile sections can be joined, so the choice of connecting and finishing pieces should follow the actual wall layout.
The assembly drawing identifies the profile, cover, LED strip and end caps as separate components. Do not treat the profile alone as a complete light fitting. The power supply sits outside the profile; allow for its location before completing the wall construction.
Light along the wall base
FLARO is intended for decorative skirting lighting in residential and commercial interiors. It can be planned into living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, kitchens, entrance halls and corridors, as well as offices, hotels, restaurants and shops. It is not drive-over rated and is not intended to be sealed. This low-level decorative line does not replace the room's main lighting. Actual light output and colour depend on the selected LED strip.
