LUMINES FLARO is an aluminium profile for an LED strip along the bottom of a wall. This black lacquered, 1 m version carries article code 10-0655-10 and replaces a conventional skirting board when recessed into the wall finish. It is a lighting-system component rather than a complete lamp with a predetermined light colour or output.
Allow for the profile in the wall construction
FLARO is designed for plaster-in installation at floor level. Its position therefore needs to be planned with the wall finish, rather than treated as a surface-mounted skirting strip added afterwards. The cross-section is 72.4 mm high and 18.1 mm wide. Check both dimensions against the proposed construction: selecting the right one-metre length does not establish whether the cross-section will fit.
The installation drawings distinguish the portion concealed by the wall finish from the open recess containing the light line. The system is intended for decorative lighting at the lower wall edge in residential and commercial interiors. It is not a drive-over profile. Silver components in assembly illustrations show the construction, not the finish of this black version.
Choose the strip and cover as a combination
The profile accepts LED strips up to 12 mm wide. The selected strip determines the light colour and output; neither is specified by the aluminium body alone. A compatible BASIC cover completes the channel. The manufacturer lists PMMA and PC covers, including clear, frosted and opal options, so the cover is a separate configuration decision when planning the visible line.
The power supply belongs outside the profile. Allow space for it and plan the cable route across the installation instead of expecting it to fit inside FLARO.
Match the ends and joints to the layout
Left and right end caps are available with a cable opening, without an opening and in built-in versions. Select them to suit the end of the run and cable routing. Straight and angled connectors, including 90° and 120° types, are provided for joining sections. The strip, cover and finishing parts are selected as system components; a photograph of a completed lighting installation does not establish the contents supplied with one profile.
