LUMINES TIANO is an aluminium LED profile recessed into the bottom of a wall in place of a conventional skirting board. This black-painted version is 1 m long and corresponds to manufacturer reference 10-1525-10. Its curved cross-section accommodates a light line along the wall-to-floor junction rather than a freestanding lamp placed on the floor.
Plan the profile with the plasterboard
The recessed construction needs to be considered when designing the lower part of the plasterboard wall. The cross-section measures 71.6 mm high and 22.1 mm deep. Compare both measurements with the proposed installation space, not just the length of the wall. The item offered here is a 1000 mm section; that measurement does not describe the length of a complete lighting run.
The manufacturer illustrates plaster-in installation and mounting springs, with mounting adhesive also shown in the installation diagrams. Areas intended for filling are left unpainted. The black finish therefore applies to the finished profile surfaces, not every part of the cross-section. Choose the installation arrangement to suit the board, floor junction and selected cover.
One component of the TIANO system
The datasheet specifies LED strips up to 12 mm wide. Compatible system components include BASIC covers, PLEXI TIANO covers, end caps and connectors for straight runs and corners. End caps have separate left-hand and right-hand versions, including versions with cable holes. These accessories have their own article references; an illustration of an assembled light line is not confirmation that every pictured part comes with this profile.
The power supply is positioned outside the profile. Allow for the appropriate strip and cover as well as a separate location for the supply when planning the installation. This aluminium section does not determine the light colour or brightness of the finished system: those depend on the chosen LED strip.
A continuous detail at floor level
TIANO is intended for residential and commercial interiors. Its wall-base light line can be planned in living rooms, bedrooms, entrance halls and corridors, including hotel or office interiors. The simple black detail suits modern and minimalist schemes. It is a recessed wall component, not a drive-over profile or a sealable outdoor lighting system.
