LUMINES SFERO PC opal profile 1 m Special Offer

LUMINES SFERO 11-3631-10 is a 1 m opal polycarbonate profile with a circular cross-section. It is a component of the SFERO lighting system, not a complete lamp with a specified wattage or light colour. Its continuous tubular form provides the basis for a light line without the flat front found on many conventional LED profiles.

Choose the profile and light source separately

The opal polycarbonate surrounds the light source on all sides. The manufacturer describes light distribution around the full 360° circumference. This does not, by itself, specify brightness, colour temperature or control functions. Those characteristics depend on the selected light source and the other parts of the installation.

The manufacturer lists SFERO FLEX neon LED sources in 2700 K and 4000 K versions, identified as 18-2001-27 and 18-2001-40. When choosing components, distinguish this individual metre-long profile from complete SFERO sets, which have separate article codes. The electrical ratings of the neon source should not be treated as electrical ratings of the bare profile.

Surface mounting, suspension or a mixed arrangement

The system supports surface mounting and suspension in either a horizontal or vertical orientation. A mixed arrangement is also possible, with one end fixed to a wall and the other suspended. Each arrangement places the metre-long line differently in relation to surrounding surfaces, so establish the fixing positions before selecting mounting accessories.

The SFERO family includes MS1, MS2 and MS3 end caps, MS2 metal mounting brackets and dedicated suspension kits. These components are selected to suit the installation. A list of system accessories is not a statement that all of those parts are supplied with this profile.

A circular line for architectural layouts

The plain tube has no decorative ornament, making its form consistent with modern and minimalist compositions. This variant is exactly 1 m long; other lengths in the range do not change its size. Compare that length with the available space and allow separately for the chosen end fittings and fixing positions. The outer diameter is 32 mm, a measurement to consider when checking the space for the circular section.
