Mantra GUINCHO 6861 recessed LED light, sand white, 5 W 4000 K IP54

Mantra GUINCHO 6861 is a compact recessed LED light with a circular trim and a deeply set light source. Its aluminium body has a sand-white finish. This reference identifies the 5 W, 4000 K neutral-white version, rather than the black finish or one of the warmer colour-temperature variants in the same family.

A narrow beam for selected areas

The 12° beam concentrates the light instead of spreading it widely. In a living room, kitchen or corridor, this makes it a point of accent lighting within a planned layout, not a single substitute for a broad-distribution ceiling light. The distance to the illuminated surface affects the size of the light patch, so mounting height matters when deciding where individual fittings should go.

The integrated LED provides 410 lm. There is no separate bulb to choose, and the source is specified as non-replaceable. Its colour temperature is therefore part of this particular fitting, not a choice made by fitting a different bulb. GUINCHO 6861 is not dimmable; a project that requires brightness adjustment needs a different specification.

Check the recess before cutting

The outer diameter is 55 mm, while the required ceiling cut-out is 49 mm. The body is 85 mm high. Compare these measurements with the space behind the ceiling, allowing for the driver and wiring shown in the assembly instructions. The visible trim diameter must not be used as the cutting dimension.

The instructions show spring retention and connection to a 220–240 V supply. To maintain the IP rating, Mantra recommends making the connection with a round three-core cable. This detail is relevant when planning an installation outside the interior.

A small white trim, indoors or outside

The IP54 rating and the manufacturer's outdoor designation support use in a soffit or covered terrace ceiling. Bathroom positioning still needs to suit the installation requirements. The circular opening and absence of ornament suit modern and minimalist schemes. Only the small white trim remains visible at the ceiling; the ribbed body sits behind the mounting surface.
