Maytoni Basic Texture MOD461WL-L5BK is a round LED wall light with a black marble face and a metal fitting. Pale veining gives the disc a visible pattern when switched off; when lit, the front conceals the source and leaves a halo on the wall around it.

Light behind the disc, not through it

The integrated LED module is rated at 5 W. Its light is reflected from the wall rather than projected through a luminous front panel. This makes the fitting a supplementary lighting layer for a living room, bedroom, dining room or corridor, rather than a substitute for a directional reading lamp. When planning a group of fittings, allow wall space beyond each disc for the surrounding light pattern.

A switch shown in the installation instructions selects 2700, 3000 or 4000 K during installation. You can therefore choose a warmer or more neutral appearance to match other lighting in the scheme. This choice concerns colour temperature, not brightness: Maytoni specifies the fitting as non-dimmable. A selectable white tone does not mean that a wall dimmer can be used.

Check the face size and projection

The front measures 15 cm in diameter and the complete fitting projects 5 cm from the wall. The drawing also identifies an 11 cm base. Compare these measurements with the intended mounting position and existing electrical point before ordering. This is a fixed wall fitting for connection to a 220–240 V AC installation, not a portable light with a plug-in cable.

Marble within a restrained outline

The circular form has neither an exposed bulb nor a projecting arm, supporting modern, modernist and minimalist interiors. Black stone and its pale veining provide the visible detail instead of elaborate ornament. The light source is already integrated, so there is no separate bulb shape or socket type to choose. Check the exact article code when combining pieces from Basic Texture, since the family also contains other finishes and materials.
