Nordlux CANIS 49760101 is a set of five white recessed downlights supplied with replaceable GU10 LED bulbs. Each fitting has a round metal trim and a tilting centre for directing the light. This is the cool 6500 K version: the product is neither a single downlight nor a warm-white kit.
Included bulbs and directional light
The supplied bulbs consume 4.7 W each and are non-dimmable. The 50 W rating is the maximum permitted bulb wattage per fitting, not the consumption of the included LED. A GU10 socket lets you replace the bulb rather than the complete downlight. Any replacement must respect the wattage limit and the relevant installation requirements.
A 36° beam and a 30° tilt describe different adjustments to the lighting plan. The beam angle describes the spread of light; the tilting centre lets you move its direction away from the vertical axis. The cool-white colour is noticeably different from warm lighting, so consider the colour of other lamps when combining them in the same room.
Check the cut-out and ceiling void
The visible trim is 85 mm in diameter and requires a 65 mm cut-out. The mounting panel must be 5–15 mm thick. Although the fitting itself is 10.5 cm high, that measurement does not replace the required installation space. The mounting diagram specifies at least 115 mm of height with LED, 305 mm with halogen, and lateral distances of at least 200 mm as illustrated.
Do not cover the fittings with thermal insulation. They are designed for a permanent connection to the 220–240 V mains. Disconnect the supply before installation and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Where the cool-white kit makes sense
Nordlux identifies kitchens, hallways and corridors as uses for this version. The plain white ring suits modern and minimalist ceilings without adding an ornamental shade. The kit is for indoor use, not gardens or positions exposed to water. Its five separate fittings provide several lighting points; their spacing still needs to be planned for the room and the ceiling construction.
