NORLYS Lillehammer 1585GB Grey-Beige Outdoor LED Wall Light

NORLYS Lillehammer 1585GB is a grey-beige outdoor wall light designed to accent walls and façades. Its plain rectangular housing is made from powder-coated cast aluminium, with an optical window on the upper face. This particular version directs light upwards only, producing a very narrow beam with a 4° angle.

A focused architectural accent

The built-in LED module provides warm-white light at 3000 K. The complete luminaire emits 15 lm, so choose this version to highlight a specific part of the architecture rather than to provide the main lighting for a terrace or passage. Its single-direction distribution also distinguishes it from an up-and-down wall light: there is no downward beam on this version.

The LED module and the finished fitting have different light-output figures. The source produces 504 lm, while the output leaving the luminaire after its optical system is 15 lm. Total fitting power is 4 W. When comparing brightness with other exterior wall lights, use the luminaire output and beam distribution rather than treating the module figure as the light delivered to the façade.

Size and grey-beige finish

The manufacturer gives dimensions of 18.5 × 11 × 8 cm. Check the available wall space against the housing measurements and consider the path of the narrow upward beam before choosing a mounting position. Flat surfaces, restrained colouring and the absence of ornamental arms suit modern and minimalist architecture as well as pared-back Scandinavian schemes. On a terrace or balcony wall, Lillehammer provides a façade accent, not direct lighting for a dining table.

Installation, dimming and servicing

The fitting has an IP65 rating and an optical safety-glass window. A silicone seal and an EPDM cable gland form part of its construction. Connection to a 220–240 V supply must follow the installation instructions and be carried out by a qualified installer. Fixing uses two 5 mm holes with a spacing of 45 × 130 mm.

Trailing Edge phase dimming is supported, so a compatible TE dimmer is needed when planning dimming control. The LED module and electronic driver are incorporated in the fitting. The manufacturer specifies professional replacement of both parts; this is not a conventional screw-in bulb that the user changes themselves.
