Norlys Lysfjord 6424BL is a black outdoor wall light with a cylindrical body and two light outlets. Its optics direct one very narrow 4° beam upwards and another downwards along the façade.

Two narrow accents on the wall

Two LED modules produce neutral white 4000 K light, while the complete fitting consumes 26.5 W. The narrow 4° distribution in both directions is intended for drawing vertical lighting accents on a façade. When choosing its position, compare the centre line of the fitting with the arrangement of the wall and architectural details.

The manufacturer specifies this model for illuminating walls, façades and other architectural schemes. Up-and-down distribution means that light leaves both ends of the cylinder. Allow space for both beams in the design and consider the position of cornices or other features near the fitting.

Dimensions and black finish

The body measures 43 cm high and 15 cm in diameter, with an overall projection of 20 cm from the wall. Compare these dimensions with the width of a pillar or the available section of façade. A mounting bracket behind the cylinder connects it to the wall surface.

The housing is cast aluminium, powder coated in black RAL 9005, with optical safety glass covers. A silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland complete the construction. IP65 means protection against dust and water jets when installation follows the manufacturer’s instructions.

Controls and electrical preparation

The fitting includes an electronic driver and supports DALI2 and NightDim. The driver is factory programmed for maximum current; other operating parameters are agreed with Norlys. Plan the controls and suitable wiring before preparing the connections, rather than assuming a preset night-time programme.

The LED modules are included, so no bulbs need to be purchased, and a professional service technician replaces both the modules and control gear. A qualified electrician must connect the 220–240 V supply and protective earth required by Class I construction. The two fixing holes are spaced 73 × 154 mm apart; retain access to the electrical connections for later servicing.
