Namsos 6033AL is an outdoor bollard light 95 cm tall with a rectangular 24 × 12 cm cross-section, cast in aluminium and powder-coated in RAL 9006 aluminium. A recess in the upper front holds satin safety glass, and the light leaves it downwards onto the ground in front of the bollard.
What light it gives
The luminaire has an integrated LED module drawing 13.8 W and delivering 904 lm. At 3000 K the light is a warm white, and CRI 80 is enough to tell colours apart on a path or steps. The manufacturer states ULOR 0%, meaning no part of the light goes above the luminaire — the bollard lights the ground, not the sky or the neighbours' windows.
The LED module and the driver can only be replaced by a service technician or electrician, so there is no bulb to buy or change yourself. Control is via DALI-2: dimming requires a DALI controller or DALI installation.
Where and how to install it
Norlys designed Namsos for gardens, private grounds and public areas, especially along outdoor stairs, steps and passageways where the ground level changes. IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, and IK08 means impact resistance, so the bollard stands outdoors without any extra cover.
The base has four ø10 mm holes spaced 61 × 121 mm. The concreting anchor, ground anchor and concrete foundation adapter are sold separately. The terminals take cables up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to be looped on to the next luminaire in a run. The luminaire is protection class I, so it needs an earth connection — installation is a job for an electrician.
Construction
The body is an aluminium casting sealed with a silicone gasket, with an EPDM cable gland. The manufacturer gives an operating range of -20 to +45 °C. The Namsos series also offers the same bollard at 65 cm and in graphite.
