Outdoor Spotlight NORLYS Moss 6778BL black LED 4.2 W 3000 K 36° IP65

Moss 6778BL is a small outdoor spotlight with a cylindrical head 7 cm in diameter, mounted on an arm with a round base. The body is cast aluminium powder-coated in black RAL 9005, and the front is closed with clear safety glass. The head also tilts vertically, so the beam can be aimed precisely at a plant, a section of façade or an architectural detail.

What is in the set and how it is installed

The set consists of luminaire art. 6705 and arm art. 6437. Overall it is 11 cm high and 8.8 cm deep. The base is screwed down through two ø5 mm holes spaced at 180° on a 50 mm circle. A 3 m H05RN-F 3G1 cable leaves the luminaire and is connected to the installation in a suitable junction box — Norlys sells connection box 145ZX0009 separately for this. Clamps 6434XX0009, 6435XX0009 and 6436XX0009 and mounting adapter 6729XX0009 are also sold separately. The luminaire is protection class I, so the third core of the cable is a protective earth and must be connected.

What light it gives

The integrated LED module runs directly on 230 V mains and is rated at 438 lm; 382 lm leaves the luminaire at 4.2 W, which is 91 lm/W. The lens focuses the light into a symmetric 36° beam — an accent that picks out one object rather than lighting the whole garden. 3000 K is a warm white, CRI 80 is typical colour rendering for outdoor lighting, and SDCM3 means several spotlights in one bed show the same shade.

The spotlight can be dimmed with a trailing-edge or leading-edge phase dimmer. The LED module may be replaced only by Norlys professional service; the manufacturer states L70 at more than 59,000 h.

Durability and intended use

IP65 means the housing is dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK06 means resistance to an impact of 1 J. The operating range is −20 to +45 °C. Norlys designed Moss for gardens, private grounds and architectural lighting; it also works at the entrance of a hotel or restaurant. To order, the spotlight is made in 2700 K, with a 15° or 24° beam and in another RAL colour.
