Sigma Kapello L 32339 – a broad wave with a copper interior

Kapello L avoids the symmetry of a conventional pendant shade. Its thin, 76 cm-wide surface forms a flowing wave: one side drops in a broad curve while the opposite edge rises to a fine point. The exterior remains quietly black, but the underside reveals a copper-coloured finish with an irregular, fibrous pattern. A bulb sits visibly at the centre. When lit, it draws attention both to this textured inner face and to the changing outline of the pendant.

A generous scale for a table or seating area

The 76 cm diameter allows this version to work as a single focal feature above a dining table, coffee table or the centre of an open-plan zone. The shade itself is only 12.5 cm high, so its wide span does not become a bulky volume. It is especially effective where it can also be viewed from the side: the profile changes with the observer’s position, while the copper underside gives reflected light a visually warmer tone. The black upper surface, cable and ceiling canopy keep the composition crisp against a pale ceiling.

Replaceable E27 lamp and adjustable suspension

This fitting takes one replaceable E27 LED bulb rated at no more than 15 W; the bulb is not included. Because the holder is open, the chosen globe contributes to the finished appearance. Opal glass creates a quieter luminous centre, whereas clear glass with a decorative filament makes the centre of the wave more pronounced. Overall height can be adjusted up to a maximum of 80 cm. The manufacturer also offers the option of ordering a longer cable for taller spaces.
