Paul Neuhaus Q-ARIAN 2569-13 is an anthracite LED pendant with an extendable horizontal bar and separate lighting in its ceiling canopy. Thin suspension cables support a narrow body rather than a row of individual shades. Its straight outline suits modern and minimalist interiors where the pendant follows the length of a table instead of forming a multi-arm centrepiece.

The manufacturer specifies a maximum length of 179 cm, an overall width of 10.5 cm and a height of 120 cm. Extending or retracting the bar changes its length. Compare those dimensions with your tabletop and the position of the ceiling connection before choosing the fitting. Consider the overall height alongside the ceiling height and the intended position above the furniture.

The official placement options include dining rooms, kitchens and living rooms. Its linear shape can also be positioned over a kitchen island of suitable dimensions. The anthracite finish and restrained outline provide a different visual approach from a traditional chandelier or a pendant with a decorative fabric shade.

Separate white and coloured lighting

Three LED modules in the bar and one in the canopy are integrated into the fitting. The installation manual identifies them as non-replaceable, so there are no screw-base bulbs to select. CCT adjustment covers 2700–5000 K, allowing warmer or cooler white light. The canopy also provides RGB lighting and can be controlled independently of the main light.

The complete luminaire delivers 2000 lm. The separately stated 5520 lm figure refers to the LED sources rather than the finished fitting's output. Dimming reduces brightness, while the memory function retains settings.

Included remote and smart-home requirements

A Q remote control is supplied for adjusting the lighting. App or voice control requires suitable integration with a ZigBee system. Depending on the device already in use, an additional compatible gateway may be needed. Smartphones pictured in the feature illustrations are not supplied with the pendant; distinguish those integration options from operation using the included remote.
