Rendl HEX R11909 is a suspension set combining a black ceiling base, a textile-covered cable and a chrome-finished metal E27 socket. It is not a lampshade: it provides the suspension for a pendant assembled with a separately chosen shade. It can also be used without a shade, leaving the bulb visible. When choosing a bulb, check both its E27 base and its wattage rather than relying on the shape of the bulb alone.

Choose a compatible shade separately

The manufacturer lists DOUBLE 40/30 and 55/30, ASPRO 40/30 and 55/30, RON 40/25, 55/30 and 60/19, and TEMPO 30/19 and 50/19 as compatible shades. These references identify particular sizes within each family; they do not establish compatibility with every E27 lampshade. No bulb is included, so its appearance and lighting characteristics need to be selected for the intended combination.

Plan around the base and cable

The ceiling base is 8 cm in diameter and 2.7 cm high. Those measurements refer to the part at the ceiling, not the overall height of an assembled pendant with a shade. The cable is 150 cm long. Compare that length with the distance from the ceiling to the proposed socket position before deciding where to install the set. Cable length alone does not establish an adjustable suspension range.

The bulb determines the light

The set operates at 230 V and is specified for an E27 LED bulb rated up to 15 W. Dimming requires a suitable light source. Its black lacquered aluminium base, textile cable and polished chrome socket create a restrained modernist combination. The final light distribution and appearance depend on the separately selected shade and bulb.
