Rendl NIZZA R14032 is a table lamp with an articulated wooden arm and a black Polycotton fabric shade. A pale lacquered metal base contrasts with the shade, while the black textile-braided power cable follows the arm as a visible part of the design.

Position the arm around your tabletop

Circular joints connect the wooden sections and allow the position of the arm to change. This distinguishes NIZZA from a lamp with a fixed upright: the shade can be repositioned over the surface rather than remaining in one place above the base. Overall height should therefore not be read as an identical measurement in every possible arm position.

Rendl specifies a height of 57 cm and a diameter of 18 cm. Before placing the lamp on a desk, chest of drawers or bedside table, check the space beside the base as well. The extended arm and angled shade occupy space above the surrounding surface. The open underside of the shade is visible in the photographs; consider its relationship to your seated eye level when choosing a position.

A replaceable E14 light source

The fitting takes an E14 bulb, with a maximum rating of 7 W stated in the instructions. Light colour and light output depend on the compatible bulb chosen. The lamp's maximum wattage is not a brightness figure in lumens. Its replaceable-source construction also distinguishes it from a fitting with a permanently integrated LED module.

The lamp operates at 230 V and has a switch on its 180 cm power cable. When planning placement, allow for the actual cable route to the socket and access to the switch, not simply the straight-line distance from the furniture.

Wood and black fabric in the room

The jointed form suits a contemporary desk, while the wood and fabric shade can also be combined with Scandinavian furniture. On a living-room or bedroom surface, it provides an additional lighting point. The instructions warn that the shade needs careful handling, so it should not be used as a handle when moving the lamp.
