RIKA 4111-18 is a 33 cm rechargeable table lamp: a black metal stem on a round base, topped by a flat cylindrical shade of smoked glass with a white inner diffuser showing through it. There is no mains cable — the lamp runs on a built-in battery charged over USB-C.
How long one charge lasts
The manufacturer states four hours for a full charge and up to six hours of light. That covers an evening, and it lets the lamp stand where there is no socket: a windowsill, a sideboard, a bedside table.
A USB-C charging cable is included, a mains adapter is not — you charge it from a phone charger or a computer's USB port. The charging socket sits in the edge of the base.
How much light it gives and how you control it
The light comes from a permanently built-in 4 W LED module running at 3000 K, a warm white with a slightly yellow cast. The module is fitted for good: you buy no bulb for this lamp, and you cannot replace the module yourself either.
The module itself is rated 440 lm, but 130 lm leave the fitting through the smoked glass. That is accent and companion light rather than room lighting, so plan it alongside other lamps.
Brightness is set by touch, with the dimmer inside the lamp itself: neither a wall dimmer nor a dimmable bulb is needed. A memory function keeps the last level you set, so the lamp returns to it when switched on.
Size, build and where to put it
The shade is 15 cm across and the lamp stands 33 cm tall — it fits on a bedside table next to a book and an alarm clock, and on a windowsill it covers no glass. At 1.02 kg it stands steadily and moves with one hand.
Stem and base are metal finished in black, the shade is smoke-coloured glass. The manufacturer intends the lamp for bedrooms and living rooms — on a table, a sideboard or a windowsill. Its IP20 rating confines it to indoor use.
