s.luce Orb 20 cm Table Lamp – Copper-Gradient Glass

The s.luce Orb 172288 is a table lamp with a 20 cm glass globe in a copper-gradient finish. Its globe rests on a low black metal ring rather than a tall stem. The glass and the light source inside it form the visible design, without a separate fabric shade.

Copper-gradient glass, not solid copper

The Kupfer Verlauf finish combines copper-coloured reflective areas with a more transparent section of glass. Reflections of the surroundings and a view of the bulb are part of this version's appearance. It is not an evenly opaque, opal-white globe. Copper describes the finish, while the manufacturer lists the materials as glass and metal.

The sphere and restrained support give the lamp a modern, minimalist form. The glossy surface provides the stronger visual accent; the black ring remains a simple base. When matching accessories, consider both the copper tone of the glass and the black support beneath it.

Allow for the full 20 cm globe

Height, width and length are each 20 cm. Compare that outline with the available space on a bedside table, living-room side table or dining-room sideboard before positioning the lamp. The globe extends beyond its narrower base, so measuring only the ring's contact area will not account for the whole lamp.

The package comprises one Orb glass globe, a Modular table-lamp base and a socket assembly with switch and plug. Some series photographs show several globes together; this listing is for a single table lamp. The switch is not specified as a built-in dimmer.

Choose the E27 bulb separately

One E27 socket accepts a light source rated up to 40 W, with a 230 V supply. No bulb is included. Brightness, light colour and the bulb's visible appearance therefore depend on the light source you select separately.

The manufacturer permits dimming with suitable light sources. That does not make every E27 bulb dimmable or mean that the ordinary switch adjusts brightness. If dimming is required, check that the selected bulb and control method are compatible.
