s.luce Orb Glass Pendant Light Copper 40 cm

s.luce Orb is a single pendant light with a 40 cm glass globe and a copper gradient finish. The coloured upper area becomes clearer towards the bottom, leaving the bulb visible. A white textile cord leads to the metal suspension.

Hand-blown glass with a colour gradient

The smooth globe creates a distinctive modern accent in a tall interior, while its minimalist shape draws attention to the glass itself. The shade is made from hand-blown glass. The manufacturer describes small bubbles, streaks and inclusions as possible characteristics of this process. The 40 cm diameter refers to the globe itself and helps establish its scale against a tabletop and neighbouring furniture. The clearer lower area also reveals the shape of the selected light source, making a decorative bulb part of the fitting’s appearance.

Five metres of suspension for tall interiors

This version has a maximum suspension of 500 cm. The length allows the shade to be lowered into a tall living room, mezzanine, staircase or entrance area. The cord can be shortened during installation; the manufacturer also describes a canopy mechanism for small suspension adjustments. The metal canopy is included. A white textile-covered cord leads to the lacquered metal holder, whose three rods support the glass around the globe’s upper opening. The separate suspension lets the light use its own ceiling power outlet.

One E27 bulb selected separately

The E27 socket takes a separately purchased bulb rated at no more than 40 W. For the Ø40 cm globe, the manufacturer specifies a bulb up to 12 cm in diameter to suit the glass opening. The source determines brightness and light colour. Brightness adjustment requires a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer. The replaceable source lets you change the light later without replacing the shade.
