KNX motion and presence detection for large spaces

The black, square STEINEL IS 3360 KNX V3 AP is a surface-mounted infrared motion and presence detector for installations that need dependable all-round coverage. It is designed for connection to the KNX bus and is configured through ETS, so it belongs in professionally planned building-automation systems rather than in a conventional 230 V switching circuit.

Detection tailored to demanding circulation areas

A 360° detection angle and tangential reach of up to 20 m make this detector a practical choice for stairwells, passageways, multi-storey car parks, warehouses, halls and larger circulation zones. STEINEL specifies installation heights from 2.5 to 4 m, with 2.8 m as the optimum height. The square AP housing measures 95 × 95 × 65 mm, keeping the ceiling installation visually compact while leaving room for connections.
