Steinel XLED Protect 090029 LED floodlight without sensor, anthracite, 13.6 W 3000 K

The Steinel XLED Protect 090029 is an anthracite outdoor floodlight with a broad panel and three light-emitting surfaces. This is the version without a motion sensor, designed for wall mounting rather than automatic activation when someone walks past.

A broad spread with adjustable direction

The integrated LED system delivers 1642 lm while consuming 13.6 W. Its 3000 K colour temperature produces warm white light, a useful detail to compare with existing exterior lights before adding another fitting. Light comes from the side surfaces as well as the front of the panel. This panoramic arrangement suits broader illumination rather than a narrow accent beam.

The panel can be rotated, tilted and locked in position. You can therefore aim it towards an entrance, driveway or terrace without moving the wall base itself. Choose the direction to suit the layout of the property: luminous flux alone does not establish the size of the area that will be lit at a particular mounting position.

Wired installation without a built-in sensor

A fixed 220–240 V, 50–60 Hz mains connection is required. There is no integrated twilight switch either, so this version should not be expected to turn on automatically at dusk. Switching must be accounted for in the electrical installation. Mounting accessories are included, but the corner wall bracket is a separate accessory and is not supplied.

Steinel lists dimensions of 195 × 195 × 174 mm in length, width and height order. Compare these measurements with the available wall space and allow room to set the panel angle before choosing the mounting point.

For entrances, terraces and the surrounding garden

The manufacturer's stated uses include gardens, front doors, courtyards, driveways, terraces, balconies and areas around the house. Its IP54 rating supports that outdoor purpose. An anthracite base and a pale opal-plastic cover give the fitting a restrained modern appearance without decorative detailing.

The LED light source is included and cannot be replaced; it does not take a separately purchased bulb. Steinel specifies a five-year manufacturer's warranty.
