Table Lamp Sigma Dakota Black Brown E27 48 cm 50160

Sigma Dakota 50160 table lamp — natural grain in a graphic frame

Dakota 50160 pairs the warm pattern of brown-stained plywood with a simple black structure made from painted steel. Its rectangular shade sits within a slender frame: the upright support turns into a horizontal top section, giving the lamp a strong, almost architectural outline. On a bedside table, desk or living-room console, it therefore serves as both a practical light and a clearly defined decorative object.

Light directed onto the surface

The lower part of the shade is open, directing most of the light down towards the tabletop. This makes Dakota useful beside a bed, next to a reading chair or wherever a separate pool of light is preferable to broad room illumination. The plywood screens the bulb from the sides, while its visible grain softens the black metal lines. The manufacturer notes that components made from wood and plywood can vary in grain pattern, colouring and shade. Those natural differences are part of the material, so individual lamps may not look completely identical.

Dimensions and placement

The lamp measures 48 cm high, 16 cm wide and 22 cm deep, while the shade itself is 15 cm high. Its narrow width makes it suitable for a relatively compact surface, although space should still be allowed for the depth of the base and an unobstructed cable route. Choosing the E27 bulb lets you adjust both brightness and colour temperature to the intended task. A warmer lamp will bring out the brown wood grain, while a more neutral light can be a practical choice on a desk. Dakota 50160 works especially well in modern, loft-inspired and Scandinavian interiors, where crisp black details benefit from the warmer character of a natural material.
