Thoro TRANG sage-green LED floor lamp 40 W 4000 K 150 cm

Thoro TRANG TH.1015 is a sage-green floor lamp built around a long vertical light section and a flat circular base. Its steel and PVC construction has no broad shade or projecting arm. Green end pieces and a separate cylinder on the black cable repeat the finish of the base.

Allow for the base as well as the slim stem

The lamp stands 150 cm high, so compare it with the back of your sofa or armchair when choosing a position. Its base is 25 cm in diameter. A narrow upper section does not mean the complete lamp will fit into any gap between furniture. Allow space for the adjacent cylinder too: the manufacturer's drawing gives its height as 26 cm and diameter as 6 cm.

The same drawing specifies a 300 cm cable. Check the route to the socket before settling on a position, rather than running the lead across a walkway. As a floor-standing light, TRANG leaves the surface of a side table available, but still needs its own clear area at floor level.

Neutral-white LED rather than a separate bulb

This version includes its LED light source, with a stated maximum power of 40 W, colour temperature of 4000 K and luminous flux of 4710 lm. It is not a fitting for a separately chosen E27 bulb. When pairing it with existing lighting, consider the neutral-white colour: it will look different from a warm-white 3000 K source.

The upright light section suits supplementary lighting beside seating or in a study. There is no adjustable arm extending over a book or desk. Assess illumination on the page separately if you are planning a reading position.

Sage green and restrained geometry

Smooth cylindrical elements and the absence of an ornamental shade give this lamp a modern, minimalist character. The green finish can sit alongside timber, pale upholstery or grey surfaces without adding a large fabric shade.
