Trio DUOLINE 701131 is a track feed with an electronic phase changer for the DUOline two-phase track system. Its rectangular plastic housing has a matt white finish. This is not a spotlight or a complete lighting kit: it connects the electrical supply to the track and provides control of two groups of luminaires.
Two lighting groups from a three-core cable
The electronic phase changer allows two lighting groups to be used even with a three-core supply cable. Repeated operation of a wall switch or dimmer selects the groups individually or together. This matters when planning a track layout in which some luminaires need to operate separately from the others. The feed itself does not determine colour temperature, brightness or beam direction; those characteristics belong to the selected luminaires.
Dimming must be considered together with the connected lights and the chosen control. Having an electronic phase changer does not make every lamp connected to the track dimmable. Check the DUOline designation on the tracks and other components when assembling the system. A similar appearance is not evidence that parts from another track system are compatible.
Load limit and feed position
The component can serve as either a centre feed or an end feed. Its maximum load is 200 W per phase. This is the permitted connected load, not light output from a source inside the housing. Calculate the load for each lighting group separately when selecting luminaires. Operation is at 230 V, 50 Hz; this component is not a voltage-reducing power supply for a low-voltage LED installation.
Additional DUOline connectors are required to join the feed to the track: one for an end feed and two for a centre feed. Include these in the component plan rather than treating the feed alone as a complete system. Connector selection must also maintain protective conductor continuity as directed by the manufacturer.
Housing dimensions and installation
The housing measures 9.5 cm wide, 5.1 cm high and 13.5 cm deep. Compare these dimensions with the cable entry position and proposed track route before deciding where to place it. The manufacturer specifies both wall and ceiling mounting. Its plain rectangular form serves as a technical component rather than a decorative shade, while the matt white finish can be matched to white DUOline parts. A qualified electrician should install the system in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
