Trio CARDONA 649617532 is a round LED ceiling light with a matt black metal body. Its broad outer ring frames a pale central surface, with the illuminated section running inside the ring. This is the 75 cm version: a wide fitting that stays close to the ceiling rather than suspending a shade into the room.
Check the width as well as the height
The fitting is 9.5 cm high. Its shallow profile limits how far it projects below the ceiling, but the large diameter still needs to be considered when choosing a position. Compare the full circle with the available ceiling area and the location of other ceiling features. A low profile does not mean a small footprint.
The manufacturer identifies living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and offices as suitable settings. CARDONA can provide general lighting in these spaces without a hanging pendant. Its continuous outline and lack of elaborate decoration suit contemporary, modernist and minimalist interiors. The matt black rim remains a visible part of the composition when the light is off, so it is worth considering that outline alongside the room's other fittings.
Separate controls for colour and brightness
The integrated LED source is rated at 59 W with a stated luminous flux of 6900 lm. There is no screw-in bulb to choose for this light. Colour temperature can be set to 2300 K, 3000 K or 4000 K, giving very warm, warm white or neutral white light respectively. This selection is made using a switch directly on the fitting, not the ordinary wall switch.
The wall switch instead provides three brightness levels. Colour selection and dimming therefore have different controls, an important distinction when planning everyday use. CARDONA is not suitable for an external dimmer. When replacing an existing light, check its control arrangement as well as the space available for the new fitting.
