Trio DOHA 641310232 is a round ceiling light with a matt black metal body and a white acrylic cover. Its main panel and outer light ring can be switched separately. The plain disc has no suspension, giving modern and modernist interiors a light that sits close to its mounting surface.
Size and mounting position
The light measures 45 cm in diameter and 5.5 cm in height. Compare the diameter with the clear area on your ceiling and the height with the clearance you need below the fitting. Its shallow body lets you plan the position without allowing space for a hanging shade.
The manufacturer permits both ceiling and wall mounting indoors. Separate panel and ring operation offers different lighting arrangements in a living room or bedroom; in a kitchen, the flat form avoids a suspended element in front of the cabinetry. Diameter alone does not establish how much of the room the light will illuminate.
Three colours and three lighting modes
The included integrated LED source is rated at 29 W, so there is no screw-in bulb to select. A DIP switch directly on the fitting selects 2300, 3000 or 4000 K. These settings provide very warm yellowish light, warm white and neutral white respectively; choosing the colour is separate from continuously adjusting brightness.
An ordinary wall switch selects both sections together, the main panel alone or the outer ring alone. The panel provides direct light, while the ring supplies supplementary indirect light. The fitting is not suitable for an external dimmer, so changing the illuminated section is the intended way to vary how it lights the space.
Materials, connection and servicing
Matt black metal frames the white acrylic cover, and the body remains black whichever light colour you choose. The fitting operates at 230 V and has Class II double insulation. Its LED source is non-replaceable, while the driver can be replaced by a qualified professional; servicing does not involve unscrewing a conventional bulb.
