TRIO DUOline 703031 is a set of two end caps for closing the open ends of DUOline tracks. Made from plastic in matt white, each cap has a flat rectangular face that finishes the end of the rail. These are installation accessories, not lamps or lengths of track.
Check the open ends in your layout
The caps are intended for the TRIO DUOline two-phase track system. Count the open rail ends before ordering. The manufacturer notes that a layout with no more than two open ends can use the caps removed from the feed-in components when connecting tracks and connectors. Take those existing caps into account when deciding how many additional sets you need.
The installation drawing shows a cap sliding into the end of the rail and being secured with a screw. The complete track system must be installed by a qualified electrician. This set does not replace the tracks, power feeds or luminaires needed to build the lighting installation.
A matt-white finish for the rail ends
Each cap is 3 cm wide, 2 cm high and 1.3 cm deep. The matt-white surface matches white DUOline components, while its plain shape keeps the rail ending visually restrained. The manufacturer associates the accessory with living-room and bedroom systems. The caps do not emit light or determine its colour or brightness.
