Thoro FREYA 120 is a black steel wall light with a tall, narrow cover that draws a clear vertical line on the wall. Behind its rectangular front is a single GU10 socket. This is a fitting for a replaceable bulb, rather than a light with an integrated LED module.
Allow for the full 120 cm height
Mark out the complete height on your wall before deciding where to install it. The body is 120 cm tall, with the other manufacturer dimensions listed as 8 cm length and 6 cm width. The technical drawing shows its slim rectangular cross-section. The number 120 refers to the size of the body, not to a continuous illuminated strip.
One fitting can provide a wall accent in a hallway; several can form a repeated vertical arrangement. In a bedroom, living room or dining room, plan it as supplementary lighting rather than assuming it will illuminate the whole space. A bulb's maximum permitted wattage does not establish the brightness of a room.
Choose one GU10 bulb separately
No bulb is supplied. The fitting takes one GU10 bulb rated at no more than 10 W. With a replaceable source, you choose the colour temperature and light output when buying the bulb; the socket itself does not fix those properties. The 10 W limit should not be read as a constant power consumption for the wall light.
FREYA uses a 230 V, 50 Hz supply and is a Class I fitting, so its installation requires a protective earth connection. The manufacturer's assembly diagram shows a separate wall-mounted strip with the steel cover placed over it.
A restrained steel silhouette
The black finish, straight edges and absence of decorative arms support modern, minimalist and industrial schemes. The front stays visually closed, with the socket tucked near the bottom of the construction. When several lights are arranged together, their slender proportions and spacing become the main decorative elements.
