Zambelis E497 LED wall washer, graphite, 18 W, 3000 K, 50 cm, IP65 Promo Code - ZAM10 until the end of Oct 30

Zambelis E497 is a linear LED wall washer with a graphite-finished aluminium body and glass over a row of lenses. Two mounting brackets support its narrow housing, which directs light onto a building surface rather than providing a broadly diffused pool of light around it.

Plan the beam around the surface

The 60° × 10° beam spreads differently in its two planes. That matters when selecting a fitting for a strip of façade or an architectural detail: E497 should not be treated as a floodlight with an equally broad beam in every direction. Compare this distribution with the shape of the surface and the proposed mounting position before deciding how many fittings to use.

The aiming angle can be adjusted through 120°, and a half-circular anti-glare element forms part of the construction. Overall dimensions are 50 cm long, 4 cm wide and 12.3 cm high. Check these measurements against the available space, allowing for the mounting brackets and the intended tilt.

Warm white light, without dimming

The integrated LED source operates at 18 W and 3000 K, with a manufacturer-stated output of up to 1160 lm. This warm white light is intended for architectural illumination. Its appearance on the building will also depend on the colour and texture of the surface and its distance from the fitting, not simply on the lumen figure.

E497 is non-dimmable. Adjusting its aim changes the direction of illumination, not the electrical brightness setting, so it is not the appropriate choice for a scheme requiring variable light levels.

Driver included, connectors ordered separately

The driver is included and the fitting accepts a 220–240 V supply. Male and female CNCTR 6 connectors are separate purchases. The manufacturer permits a maximum of eight linked fittings, a limit to incorporate when laying out repeated sections along a façade.

Installation and electrical connection should be carried out by a professional electrician. Its IP65 rating and documented outdoor use support façade installation. The plain technical housing suits modern and minimalist architecture, keeping the emphasis on the illuminated surface rather than on an ornamental shade.
