CAMI is a flat, round ceiling light: a white luminous disc in a narrow gold rim, 50 cm across and only 3 cm deep. At that proportion the fitting all but disappears into the ceiling — while still delivering 3480 lm, enough to light a room of some twenty square metres on its own.
Three colours, one switch
A DIP switch on the body has three positions: WW 3000 K (warm white), NW 4000 K (neutral) and CW 6000 K (cool white). The colour is chosen once, at installation — this is not remote or app control but a decision made on the ladder. The advantage is that it need not be made in the shop: the same fitting suits a bedroom (3000 K) and a kitchen or utility room (4000–6000 K).
How much light, and for what room
3480 lm at 45 W is about 77 lm/W and energy efficiency class E. In practice: at a typical requirement of 150–200 lm/m², one CAMI lights a room of 17–23 m² as the sole general source. At the cooler setting the light subjectively reads brighter, although the flux does not change.
Installation
The fitting is surface mounted to the ceiling: the base plate is screwed up first, the 230 V supply connected, then the body is offered up and twisted until it locks. Screws and wall plugs are not supplied — they have to be matched to the ceiling material (different for concrete and for plasterboard).
Servicing the light source
The LED module and the driver are replaceable, but by qualified service only — the maker states this explicitly in the manual. This is not a fitting in which you change a bulb yourself; on the other hand, it need not be thrown away whole after some years.
The CAMI family
Zuma Line offers CAMI in three sizes (S, M, L) and three rim colours: black, white and gold. This item is the M size in gold.
