Aldex Loop Red Wine Burgundy Wall Light E14 1125C15

Aldex Loop Red Wine 1125C15 is a wall light combining a burgundy semicircular metal disc with a spherical opal-glass shade. The disc extends above and below the globe, creating an overlapping geometric outline rather than leaving the glass as the only visible element. This is the wall-mounted version of the Loop collection, with one E14 socket.

Allow for the whole outline

The fitting measures 28 cm high, 20 cm wide and 18 cm deep. Its glass globe is 14 cm in diameter, but that measurement does not describe the complete footprint on the wall. When placing it beside a mirror, headboard or furniture edge, allow for the metal disc as well as the shade.

The depth represents the projection into the space in front of the wall. In a hallway, compare that 18 cm projection with the clear walking route and the swing of nearby doors. In a living room, bedroom or dining room, Loop can serve as an additional wall-mounted light point. A single socket does not, by itself, establish whether the fitting can illuminate an entire room.

Choosing a bulb and planning the connection

Aldex specifies one E14 light source. Brightness and light colour depend on the chosen bulb; the warm appearance in a photograph is not a fixed colour temperature for this fitting. Check the bulb dimensions against the shade and the permitted ratings on the lamp marking before buying the light source.

The 1125C instructions show wall fastening and a connection to the electrical installation, rather than operation through a lead with a plug. Plan an electrical supply at the intended mounting position. Power must be disconnected before work; the manufacturer's document illustrates installation by an installer.

Burgundy colour in a geometric composition

The opal glass contrasts with the dark red metal. The globe and semicircle, without branching arms, support modern and modernist interiors. Choose this variant when you want a burgundy surface to remain visible even with the light switched off, rather than an entirely white fitting.
