Aldex Trevo 2 right-hand wall light, Dusty Blue, 2×GU10 mini, 80 cm, 1104D16_2

Aldex Trevo 2 in Dusty Blue is a right-hand wall light with two narrow cylindrical heads positioned to the right of its circular wall plate. A long horizontal bar gives the metal fixture its deliberately asymmetric outline, while the satin blue finish keeps the individual parts visually connected. Article 1104D16_2 identifies this two-light version, not its left-hand counterpart.

Plan around the offset wall plate

The fixture measures 80 cm wide, 17 cm high and 5 cm deep. Before choosing the mounting position, compare the full length of the bar with the available wall space and the location of the electrical connection. The wall plate is not centred on the bar, so centring the connection above a piece of furniture will not automatically centre the whole light.

Aldex specifically suggests combining this version with the separate left-hand light above a bed headboard. The two versions can form a mirrored arrangement. This article is one right-hand fixture, rather than a pair, so a matching counterpart and the positions of both connections need to be considered when planning that layout.

Choose the compact GU10 format

The two heads require GU10 mini light sources with a diameter of 35 mm. The manufacturer specifies a maximum of 10 W per LED lamp. Check the physical size as well as the cap designation: a larger GU10 lamp is not automatically suitable simply because the electrical cap matches. The slim cylindrical housings make the compact format important.

Brightness and colour temperature depend on the lamps selected. Dusty Blue refers to the fixture finish, not to a fixed light colour. The openings face downwards, giving the construction the character of local wall lighting rather than that of an open shade emitting in every direction. Take that arrangement into account when deciding which part of the room needs supplementary light.

Simple geometry with a coloured finish

The combination of a bar, circular plate and two cylinders suits modern and minimalist interiors. Trevo 2 can provide supplementary wall lighting in a bedroom or living room while retaining a clearly visible horizontal silhouette. Its blue colour belongs to the metal body itself; this is not a design built around a textile shade.
