ALINRU is a rectangular dining table from the VASAGLE range with a 120 × 75 cm top. The top is chipboard printed with a dark brown, distressed wood grain, and the frame is made of 40 × 40 mm iron profiles, powder-coated in matt black and joined by a low reinforcing crossbar.
Size and space around the table
The table is 75 cm high, the standard height for a dining table, so chairs and benches with a seat height of 44–47 cm suit it. The manufacturer intends it for four people: at 60 cm per person, the 120 cm long side seats two people on each side.
When planning the layout, allow about 80 cm of clearance on every side where someone sits. For a table that is used from all sides, that makes a zone of roughly 280 × 235 cm.
Construction and load
The manufacturer gives a maximum static load of 100 kg. The feet are adjustable, so the table can be levelled on an uneven floor, and the corners of the top are rounded. The table weighs 17.2 kg.
The top is decor-faced chipboard, not solid wood. The manufacturer recommends placing it away from heat sources, direct sunlight and moisture, so this is furniture for indoor use only.
Assembly and what is in the box
The table arrives for self-assembly: the parts are numbered and the instructions are illustrated. The box contains the table, a bag of assembly accessories and instructions in German, English, Spanish, French and Italian.
Style
A raw black frame of square profiles and a distressed-look top combine an industrial and a vintage style. The table is intended for the dining room and the kitchen.
