The black LUMINES COSMO end cap 12-0922-01 finishes an LED profile and is made from ABS plastic. It has a marked knockout opening: the prepared section can be removed to create a cable passage where the installation requires one. This is not an adjustable aluminium end cap, even though other COSMO accessories may have a similar outline.
A closed end or a cable exit
A marked opening does not mean that the passage is already open. Leave the section in place for a closed finish, or remove it when the cable needs to exit through the end of the profile. Decide this before completing the assembly. The whole cap is black; reference 12-0922-01 identifies the ABS version, not a metal end cap in the same colour.
Matching the COSMO system
This accessory is intended for the LUMINES COSMO system. Check the profile name, cap material and opening type rather than relying only on colour or a roughly circular shape. It closes the profile but does not replace the cover, LED strip or other system components. COSMO is used for applications including shelf and cupboard-interior lighting. The end cap itself does not determine the brightness, light colour or controls of the finished installation.
