Brianna is a six-arm chandelier with a spare, linear form: six slim tubular arms leave a central stem in a gentle upward curve, each ending in a candle-style holder. Everything is finished in burnished brass — a warm, gilded metal. The design comes from the American brand Feiss (Generation Lighting) and is distributed in Europe by Elstead Lighting.
How big it is and how it hangs
The chandelier is 61 cm wide and 53.1 cm tall. It hangs on a rigid rod rather than a flex or chain: four 305 mm rods and one 152 mm rod are supplied, and the drop between 57.2 and 194.4 cm is set during installation by joining the right number of sections. Over a dining table the lower edge usually sits 70–80 cm above the top; with a width of 61 cm it is worth comparing the chandelier with the width of your table.
The fitting weighs 4.5 kg, so it needs a secure fixing point in the ceiling.
How much light it gives
There are six E14 sockets, each for a bulb of up to 60 W. No bulbs are supplied — you will need six. In the maker's photographs the holders are bare and the bulbs stay on view, so their shape is part of the look. The maker offers cylindrical white linen shades for this fitting under code LS358. The chandelier is compatible with dimmable bulbs when a dimmer is installed in the circuit.
Construction and use
The frame is steel, and the ceiling canopy shares the brass finish of the arms. The fitting is protection class I and must be connected to the earth conductor. The product attributes list it for over a dining table, for hallways and for hotels. The family also comes in polished nickel and in black.
