The AGNES SQUARE LED PRO 10992 is a large square ceiling light from Nowodvorski, 43.5 cm on a side and only 5 cm deep. A white painted steel body is closed underneath by a flat PMMA diffuser that spreads the light across the whole face - instead of a point of glare you see an evenly lit rectangle. The shallow profile suits rooms with a low ceiling, where a pendant would be in the way.
What 32 W buys you
The integrated LED module draws 32 W and delivers 3100 lm - roughly the output of an old 200 W incandescent bulb, and enough to light a 15-20 mΒ² room on its own. At 4000 K the light is neutral white: without the yellow cast of 3000 K but not as cold as daylight, which works well in a kitchen, bathroom, hallway or workroom. Colour rendering is above 80 and the 120Β° beam angle covers a wide area without hard shadows. The light source is integrated and not replaceable - you never buy bulbs for it, but you cannot swap it yourself at end of life either.
IP44 - bathroom-capable
The fitting is rated IP44: protected against solid objects larger than 1 mm and against splashing water from any direction. That allows it in a bathroom outside the direct shower zone, and in a utility room, kitchen or covered porch. The manufacturer classifies the product as indoor, however - it does not belong on an open terrace or under an uncovered canopy.
Installation
The fitting mounts directly to the ceiling and the mounting kit is included - no need to buy plugs or screws separately. It is a class I fitting and therefore requires a protective earth conductor; installation is a job for a qualified electrician. It weighs 1.485 kg net, which matters on plasterboard ceilings - there you want to hit a joist or use board anchors. The carton measures 46 x 46 x 7 cm and weighs 1.79 kg.
Materials and lifetime
The primary material is painted steel, supported by PMMA - the same material acrylic glass is made from. PMMA yellows more slowly than ordinary polystyrene and handles the LED module's heat well. Rated source life is 40,000 hours; at three hours a day that is more than 36 years of service. The fitting is declared in energy class E.
Variants in the collection
AGNES SQUARE LED PRO comes in three sizes: 16 W at 33.5 cm across, 32 W at 43.5 cm, and a 64 W version. Each size is offered in two colour temperatures, 3000 K and 4000 K. Worth knowing: the 3000 K version of the same wattage (symbol 10991) produces 2900 lm, 200 lm less than this 4000 K model for identical consumption. The collection also includes the round counterpart, AGNES ROUND LED PRO, at 22, 32 and 64 W.
