Nowodvorski LID SQUARE LED 10432 is a white square ceiling light with an integrated 50 W LED source. A plain plastic frame surrounds its broad illuminated face. There is no suspended shade or decorative armature: the design is a shallow geometric form fitted directly against the ceiling.
A 30 cm footprint without a hanging shade
The fitting measures 30 cm wide and 4 cm high. Compare that footprint with the proposed position and the ceiling outlet before ordering, especially where it needs to sit between other ceiling elements. Its shallow body does not hang into the room on a cable, making projection below the ceiling a clear point of comparison with a pendant. The straight outline can sit alongside linear kitchen fronts, door frames or office furniture. Its white frame and unadorned face suit modern and minimalist schemes without introducing an ornamental centrepiece.
Neutral white rather than warm white
The specified colour temperature is 4000 K, giving neutral white light rather than the warm white associated with many decorative evening lamps. The manufacturer lists 5000 lm and a 120° beam angle. This is a broad light distribution, not a narrow spotlight for an artwork or one small task. It can form part of general lighting in a kitchen, study or living area; room dimensions and surface finishes still matter when deciding how many fittings are required. The LED source is included and integrated, so there is no separate socketed bulb to choose for initial use.
Direct mounting and supplied components
The light is intended for direct mounting and a ~220–230 V electrical supply. The package contains the fitting, instructions, assembly instructions and a mounting kit. Electrical installation must be carried out by an appropriately qualified person; direct mounting does not mean a plug-in connection. In a hall or corridor, the absence of a hanging shade is another useful consideration when comparing ceiling lights.
