REN OB-2211BD-3-GLD is a three-light ceiling spotlight bar in gold: a straight, square-edged base 38 cm long with three cylindrical heads of 6 cm diameter beneath it. Each head is a transparent, gold-tinted sleeve over an inner white cylinder through which the light leaves.
How much ceiling it takes up
The base is 38 cm long and the whole fitting drops only 10 cm from the ceiling, so the bar stays out of the way even in a room with a low ceiling. The three heads spread across those 38 cm, roughly 13 cm centre to centre — a spacing to compare with the width of the worktop, picture or shelf you want lit.
The fitting weighs 0.9 kg, so its weight does not decide how it is fixed. The base screws straight to the ceiling, but the screws and wall plugs are not supplied — they have to be chosen for the ceiling you have.
What bulbs to buy and how to aim the light
The bar takes three GU10 bulbs of up to 50 W each. That is the fitting's limit, not its consumption: with LED bulbs the real draw is several times lower. Bulbs are not included, so you choose the colour and brightness yourself — and with them you also decide whether it can be dimmed, because the fitting itself holds no control electronics.
Each head turns on its own joint and tilts, so the three beams can point at three separate places or gather on one wall. That is how a directional fitting works: light lands where the cylinder points, not evenly across the whole room.
Build and room
The base and the joints are metal, the sleeves plastic. The gold sheen of the metal and the transparent, gold-tinted sleeve belong to the language of glamour, while the shape itself — three smooth tubes on a straight bar — stays modern and unornamented. The manufacturer intends it for the living room, the bedroom and the kitchen.
