s.luce Echos 20-Light Chandelier, Brown Glass, White Suspension, Ø25 cm Shades

The s.luce Echos chandelier gathers twenty brown shades made from hand-blown glass on one white ceiling canopy. Rounded bulges and narrower sections form the waved outline of each shade. White suspensions connect the individual pendants to the large round ceiling plate. Every shade in this version has the same 25 cm diameter.

Twenty shades and the suspension length

Each shade measures 25 cm in diameter and 28 cm in height. The shared canopy is 120 cm across and 4 cm high, so the ceiling space needs to accommodate the complete plate as well as the individual pendants. Twenty separately suspended elements form a substantial arrangement: compare the overall installation with the space available in your room, rather than judging its scale from one shade.

The maximum drop is 500 cm. The manufacturer specifies a suspension that can be shortened, allowing the arrangement to suit the height of the interior. Before deciding on the drop, check the ceiling height and the clearance needed below the lowest shade. All twenty suspensions meet at the same ceiling plate.

Bulbs and dimming

There are twenty E27 sockets, each rated for a bulb of up to 40 W. Bulbs are not included; twenty need to be selected separately for the fitting. Their colour temperature and brightness determine the light from the complete arrangement. The light sources are replaceable, allowing a later change of light without replacing the whole chandelier.

Dimming requires suitable bulbs and a compatible dimmer. The open bottom of each shade provides a path for light directed downwards. The fitting connects to 230 V and is protection class I, so the installation requires a protective earth conductor.

Large living spaces and hotel lobbies

The manufacturer specifies this version for large living spaces open across floors and hotel lobbies. Entrances and stairwells are also stated applications. Twenty repeated glass shades form a modern arrangement on a large scale. Before choosing a position, compare the canopy diameter and possible drop with the available width and height of the interior. Brown glass and white suspension components form the colour combination of this particular version.
