Endon Amari 3-Light Chrome Glass Ceiling Light 96833

The Endon Amari 96833 is a three-light semi-flush ceiling fitting with chrome-plated steelwork and clear glass shades. Elongated oval frames surround the shades, with three short arms spreading out from a compact ceiling plate. Because the lamps remain visible through the glass, their shape contributes to the finished appearance.

A wide fitting without a long drop

Amari measures 56.5 cm across and projects just 12 cm from the ceiling. This combination gives the ceiling a defined decorative feature without introducing the long suspension of a pendant. It is an option for a living room, bedroom or dining room where a low-profile fitting suits the available ceiling height.

Before installation, compare the diameter with the clear ceiling area and check the remaining headroom beneath the fitting. The shallow construction also suits general lighting in a kitchen, entrance hall or corridor. In a kitchen, it should not be treated as a replacement for dedicated worktop lighting.

Choose three E14 LED candle lamps

The fitting requires three E14 LED candle lamps, each rated at no more than 6 W. Bulbs are not supplied. Their selection determines the brightness and colour temperature, rather than the fitting having a fixed light output or built-in light colour.

Endon lists Amari as dimmable. To use that capability, choose dimmable lamps and a compatible dimmer. The transparent shades do not conceal the bulbs, so consider their appearance as well as their lighting specifications when purchasing them.

Chrome, clear glass and ceiling installation

Smooth metal ellipses give the fitting a modern geometric character, while the clear shades leave the chrome framework in view. It can coordinate with other silver-toned details without adding a coloured shade to the room. The manufacturer's instructions specify domestic ceiling use and exclude bathroom installation. This Class I fitting must be earthed. For cleaning, isolate the supply and allow the bulbs to cool, then use a dry cloth only. Liquid and abrasive cleaners are not recommended.
