Endon Cagney CAGNEY-5AB 5-Light G9 Ceiling Light, Antique Brass Finish and White Glass

The Endon Cagney CAGNEY-5AB is a five-arm ceiling light with an antique brass-finished steel frame and white glass shades. Curved arms support upward-facing bowls, giving it the outline of a compact chandelier on a fixed, close-to-ceiling structure.

Allow for both width and ceiling projection

The fitting measures 64 cm across and projects 46 cm below the ceiling. Check both dimensions against the intended position: the spread of the arms matters alongside the height left beneath the lowest part. This is not a flat flush light or a cable-suspended pendant with an adjustable drop.

Its ceiling-mounted form can suit a living room, bedroom or dining room. The practical fit depends on your ceiling height and the location of the mounting point, rather than the room name alone. Where the light sits above a walking route, compare its fixed projection with the clearance available before ordering.

Choose five G9 lamps separately

Bulbs are not supplied. Each of the five G9 holders accepts a lamp rated up to 33 W; that figure is the limit per bulb, not the energy consumption of the complete fitting. The manufacturer permits compatible G9 LED lamps. Actual brightness and colour temperature therefore depend on the lamps you choose, rather than being fixed characteristics of this ceiling light.

The fitting supports dimming when used with suitable bulbs and a compatible dimmer. Check that combination before buying the separate components. A dimmable fitting does not make a non-dimmable LED bulb suitable for dimming, nor does it establish compatibility with every existing control.

Classic detailing and glass care

The antique brass finish, bowed arms and faint line detailing on the white glass suit classic and modern classic interiors. The frame is steel with a decorative finish, not solid brass. The installation instructions require an earth connection and exclude bathroom installation. The glass parts need careful handling during installation and later maintenance to avoid breakage. Cleaning is limited to a dry cloth: liquid cleaners and abrasive products are excluded by the instructions. Before touching the fitting for cleaning or a bulb change, leave it to cool for ten minutes.
