Gea Luce GSO111C linear LED pendant light, black, 40 W, 3000 K

Gea Luce GSO111C is a linear LED pendant with a satin-black aluminium body, a matching black ceiling canopy and a black cable. Its narrow profile emits light both downwards and towards the ceiling. The manufacturer specifies indoor use, with office lighting as its principal application.

Separate upper and lower light outlets

The lower face uses a transparent methacrylate diffuser with an anti-glare design, while the upper face has a white opal diffuser in the same material. This means illumination is not directed solely at the surface below the pendant: part of the light also leaves above the body. The manufacturer states UGR <22. This should not be read as the stricter UGR <19 rating when assessing a workplace lighting scheme.

The integrated LED modules are rated at 40 W and produce warm-white light at 3000 K. The stated luminous flux is 3203 lm, with a 44° beam angle. When deciding how many pendants to use above desks or a meeting table, consider the suspension height and room layout as well; the lumen figure alone does not establish the illumination on the work surface.

Check the dimensions against the table

The body measures 119.2 cm long, 2.12 cm wide and 7.3 cm high. The technical drawing gives a maximum overall height of 150 cm, with a ceiling canopy measuring 11.5 cm in diameter and 2 cm high. Compare these dimensions with the tabletop and available ceiling space before installation. The elongated shape suits a desk, meeting table or dining table, while its plain geometry supports modern and minimalist interiors without relying on decorative detailing.

Included equipment and switching

The LED modules and transformer are included. This is an on/off luminaire, not a dimmable one. A connecting bracket is also supplied for linking it to other such pendants; that does not mean an additional light is included. The supply is 220–240 V AC. Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel, with the mains disconnected before work. The instructions also require cables and electrical components to be kept away from water and cleaning agents.
