Gea Luce GPL300C is a round, surface-mounted LED ceiling light with a matt white aluminium body and a methacrylate diffuser. Its shallow, enclosed disc has no hanging shade or exposed bulb, leaving a broad light-emitting face framed by a narrow circular rim.
A 40 cm disc close to the ceiling
The fitting measures 40 cm across and projects 6 cm below the ceiling. Compare these measurements with the ceiling connection point, nearby cabinetry and the proportions of the room before choosing its position. Unlike a pendant, it does not lower the light source into the space on a suspension cable.
The plain circular outline and matt finish suit modern and minimalist interiors. Consider it for general lighting in a living room, bedroom, hallway, kitchen or dining room. The number of fittings needed depends on room size and other lighting; the diffuser diameter alone cannot determine whether one fitting will provide enough illumination throughout the space.
Fixed warm white light, without dimming
The integrated 40 W LED module produces a declared 3329 lm at 3000 K. A 110° beam distributes direct light broadly downwards rather than concentrating it into a narrow accent on one object. This version has a fixed warm white colour temperature, not a selectable warm-to-cool setting.
GPL300C uses on/off control and is not dimmable. If a bedroom or living room needs a lower evening light level, plan a separate supplementary lamp rather than relying on a dimmer to reduce this fitting's output.
Included components and surface care
The LED module and transformer are included, so there is no separate bulb to choose. The manufacturer specifies indoor ceiling installation and a 220–240 V supply, with installation carried out by qualified personnel. The instructions recommend a damp cloth with mild detergent, followed by gentle drying. Keep water and cleaning solution away from electrical components.
